Kindergarten Enrollment Process
- Eligibility: Your child must turn five before September 1st of the enrolling year.
- Should you have a neighbor who has a child who will be 5 by September 1st, please ask them to come visit us.
- Required Documents: Parents/Guardians must provide the following during enrollment:
- An official birth certificate
- An immunization record or Utah exemption form
- Proof of residency (must include address, parent name, and current date)
- Enrollment Application: Enrollment is done online at https://www.canyonsdistrict.org/depts/admissions/new-student/
- If you already have a student attending in the Canyons School District, click on “New Student Enrollment” to link your new student with your existing Skyward account.
- If you are new to our district, click on “Temporary Account for New Student Enrollment” to begin the process.

Orientation Information
Mark your calendar to attend Kindergarten Orientation on April 17th from 2:15pm-2:45pm.
- Both guardians and future Kindergartners are invited.
- We will help with registration! Bring proof of address, birth certificate, and immunization records.
- This will be an opportunity to meet our teachers, administration, and learn about Copperview!
Register for School
- You will receive instructions in August for registering for school online. Please note that registration is different than enrolling.
- Enrollment is the process of being accepted into Canyons School District—this includes submitting required documentation and selecting a school or program.
- Registration happens after enrollment and involves choosing specific classes, updating contact information, and confirming attendance for the school year.
