Who We Are
Copperview Elementary is located in the middle of a well-established community in Midvale City. Some of the earliest homes built in the Salt Lake Valley are within the school’s boundaries. The area has produced many noteworthy citizens, including former Congressman Dan Marriott, Astronaut Don Lind, and prominent civic leader Maurine C. Jensen. The school also serves students living in a rapidly expanding area of apartment houses and mobile home units.
At Copperview Elementary, United Way, of Salt Lake partners with Canyons School District, the City of Midvale, and many other community partners to provide academic and social supports to ensure that all students succeed. Title I preschool, an After School Program, classes for adults, a monthly mobile food bank, and health and social services are just a few of the enhanced programs that our community school is able to offer with the help of its partners.
