Halloween Parade (9:15 AM)
The Halloween Parade will be held on Tuesday, October 31, 2023 and is scheduled to begin at 9:15 AM.
Students should wear their costumes to school. Students may bring a change of clothing and following the parade will change into their regular school clothes.
Please watch for additional information from your student’s teacher about in class events.
Additional Information to Allow for the Best Experience for All:
Costumes
Students may not wear masks or other items that minimize their vision.
Weapons (real and facsimile) are not permitted.
We encourage students to be creative with their costumes, but avoid blood and gore as part of their costumes.
Parade Route
To ensure student safety and provide a fun experience for students, parents, and teachers we will use the parade route map.
Family seating to view the parade will be available on the north side of the building and the front of the building.
To minimize traffic, please arrive early and avoid leaving prior to the end of the parade.
Halloween Dance Party with Ririe-Woodbury (2:00 PM)
Students in grade K-5 will be invited to the gym for a structured Dance Party facilitated by performers with Ririe Woodbury. Ririe-Woodbury has provided engaging performances for assemblies in the past and we are thrilled to have their guidance in this event.
Trunk or Treat (4:00-5:00 PM)
Join us for our annual Trunk or Treat in the north parking lot in front of Copperview!
Trunk or Treat is a safe and exciting way for the Copperview Community to celebrate Halloween while trick-or-treating from car to car in our school’s parking lot with creative and spooky decorations! You can also decorate your car trunk, hand out treats, or donate candy and other treats for the event. If you are interested in decorating a car, complete the form here. Donations for Trunk of Treat can be dropped off at the office.
We will also have a Corn Dog Truck during the event available for purchase. Come hungry!
