Health Room | - The Health Room will continue to serve students with non-COVID symptoms.
- B-110 File Room (located in the Southern Office Area) will serve as the quarantine room to temporarily isolate students with COVID like symptoms, (as identified by district health protocol) with supervision provided, until parents can pick them up.
- The B-110 File Room will be sanitized after each quarantine incident.

Sensory Breaks/CICO | SEL staff will follow physical distancing guidelines when providing support for students, to the extent possible. Behavior assistants will conduct CICO procedures at students’ classrooms to prevent unnecessary student hallway travel.

Accommodating Individual Circumstances: (e.g. High-Risk, and Personal Decisions) | High-Risk Identification Process: Identify students, families, and staff with high-risk needs and provide support and referrals as needed. Review all current 504 and health care plans with families to ensure appropriate accommodations are in place. Wellness staff (Social Worker, Psychologist, Nurse) coordinate and support school to provide social emotional needs and create support plans as needed.

Preparation | - All employees will participate in Canyons School District training and safety expectations to mitigate risk.
- Custodial staff will follow correct protocols for implementing an increased cleaning and hygiene regime.

Communication | - Copperview Reopening Plan will be communicated to stakeholders via email, website, skylert, classtag, social media etc.
- Protocol for drop off and pick up will be communicated to families.

Special Education, Related Services, or School Counseling (e.g., School Psychologist, SpeechLanguage Pathologist, | Any individualized instruction, assessment, or other areas where physical distancing is not possible and one-on-one required, reasonable accommodations such as face shields will be utilized in order to have equal access and allow IEP services to be delivered. We will work closely with families and the school/district nurse, special education staff, and/or the school psychologist to review and revise health care/504/IEP plans with special consideration to mitigating risk. All staff interacting with these students will be notified of needs identified in individual plans.
