1. 1. Safety Drills

   2. Teacher Student Success Plan (TSSP) Current  Plan (reviewed on 2-11-2020)
      1. Copperview staff will increase the quality of instructional delivery and build positive relationships to support student growth at Copperview by working in effective teams and using academic and social-emotional data to make decisions.
      2. Proposed Overarching Goal for 2020-2021 – Intensify instructional delivery (through teacher clarity, PBIS, positive relationships, and embedded ELD practices, particularly structured classroom discussion) across content areas with teams using data.
         1. Sandra – would like to see that we are capturing/addressing the needs of all students, differentiation of instruction.
            • Sandra gave an example of when she was volunteering in Ms. Hansen’s class – using multiple techniques to address all students needs
         2. Direction for next year is similar to this years – with emphasis in the areas listed above
         3. All SCC members approve Teacher Student Success Plan for the 2020 -2021 school year
   3. PTA President – Need a New President for 2020-2021

         • Reported difference in customer service – office staff and families
           • Sandra reports having an incident where she never received her daughters photo, despite her paying for them
         • Both companies have agreed to do the back drops and pictures for Winterfest

   1. COVID 19 – received from Canyons Communication Department on March 2nd. CSD has been in close contact with the Health Department regarding COVID 19 outbreak.
   2. What will happen in the event of school closures? To date, there are no restrictions on public gatherings in Utah, including at public schools. In the event of an outbreak, our school nurses and Responsive Services Department will work closely with local and state health officials. Parents and guardians will immediately be notified of any developments via Canyons District’s emergency messaging system. The Canyons District academic team also has started discussions on how students could continue learning through various formats, in accordance with Administrative Rule R277-419-12(5), if schools are closed for a significant amount of time. In the event of school closures, the Utah State Board of Education has advised District officials that they are in a position to grant waivers to state rules that require schools to hold a minimum number of instructional hours and days per year.
   3. According to health authorities, the symptoms of COVID -19 are similar to those related to seasonal colds or the flu, including fever, cough, and shortness of breath. While these symptoms on their own should not be cause for alarm, we encourage families to keep sick students home and to monitor their student’s health closely if these symptoms arise. Parents can reinforce good hygiene practices at home:
      1. Wash hands thoroughly and often
      2. Avoid shaking hands, especially with those who appear to be ill.
      3. Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth as much as possible.
      4. Disinfect shared surfaces
      5. Stay home when you are sick
