- Halloween at Copperview – Costumes, Classroom Parties, no outside food or volunteers
- Red Ribbon Week (see below) – Drug Free Week
- Josie has explained Red Ribbon Week to students this week in Brain Boosters, Prizes will be given to most creative and decked out costumes
- Digital Citizenship – Brief Update
- Ideas: Cyberbullying – how to respond to cyberbullying, how to block Apps on computers/devices at home, videos to parents through ClassDojo
- Brain Boosters will start in November with Digital Citizenship Lessons
- Learning Opportunities Confirmation – November 1 – 8
- We will be reaching out to parents that have online students that are not participating regularly to notify them of this opportunity to change their child’s learning path.
- Josie asked about physical distancing with possibility of more students coming back – we will do the best we can to keep children physically distanced, but 3 – 6 feet has never been a guarantee.
- Parent Compact – sending home this week
- Going home tomorrow – if parents/students want to sign they can, it’s not mandatory.
- We’ll also provide to online teachers to send out via CANVAS.

- 23 – Community Free Fresh Food Distribution – 11:00am – 1:00pm – Drive Thru
- 26 – 29 – Red Ribbon Week (Online students can also participate): Monday – Wear Red, Tuesday – Pajama Day, Wednesday – Crazy Hair, Thursday – Halloween Costumes – PTA will have a small treat for every child to take home.
- 27 – Mobile Food Bank – 3:00-4:00 – Rear of the school

- Must make an appointment for Mobile Medical Clinic
- Anyone in the community can make an appointment for the Medical Clinic
- Vision clinic is for students, if there is room for adults we will open it up
- 24 – Turkey Trot – 1:30, Mobile Food Bank – 3:00-4:00
- Grades will run in a race in the back of school, boy and girl winner in each grade will win a turkey
- Parents are welcome to come see the student run outside.
