- Sarah Hansen stated that a 68% reading goal is aggressive and celebrated that student’s currently meeting 65% is awesome!
- Look at being intentional next school year about instructional interventionists schedules to hopefully cover all grade’s SBI times.
- Sierra Segura provided clarification on difference between BLT and CSI teams
- SCC members agree that 64% for a Math goal is attainable next year
- Sierra is working on figuring out how to administer the CALL survey for the School Climate Goal; working with a consultant from the state to do this – with the possibility of needing to amend due to not having all information at this time
- Sierra Segura sources of Landtrust funding vs. CSI funding
- Present SCC members voted to approve TSSP and Landtrust Plan for 2025-2026 school year – signed off on plan
- Stephanie Dickey asked about Colleen Smith’s absence
- Sierra addressed that we do not have a return date at this time and once we have more information it will be shared with our community
- Raschell added that the Assistant Principals are covering administrative duties and are here for the students and families
- Danae Adams added our AP’s are doing a fantastic job covering responsibilities
- staff and student concerns are being addressed as usual
- Discussion about elementary-level Chromebook filtering and access options
- Elementary school filter is the current highest setting offered
- Stephanie Dickey asked: When students are at a highly restrictive filter, does that restrict learning sites/materials?
- There are ways teachers can work around highly restricted filter
- SCC members will come with feedback to vote on questions next meeting 4/15/2025
- Drop-off and pick-up concerns
- Major concern identified by Stephanie Dickey: Cars are blocking and parking in the middle of drop off lane and not following signage to pull forward
- cars are being left unattended
- worried that someone is going to get hurt; SCC members have seen students run into the parking lot to meet parents parked in the middle lane, not on curb
