General Meeting

New Business
No Fuss Fundraiser – Our fundraiser went Very Well! We raised almost $3,500 this year. We’d like to Thank All those who donated and a Special Thank You to Riley Roderick’s amazing parents and their companies for the donations.
Our last events of the school year:
Classic Skating – tonight May 10th from 5:00-9:00pm
Cafe Zupas Night – Tuesday May 14th from 4:00-9:00pm
End of the Year Music Celebration – Tuesday, May 21st from 5:00-6:30pm. Come listen to the musical numbers that the students have learned and been practicing. Some of the organizations that will be in attendance are: Copperview Rec. Center, Tyler Library, Face Painting by members of the FLC, some food trucks and more.
Field Days – Kindergarten will be Friday, May 24th 9:30 – 11:30am
1st – 5th will be Wednesday, May 29th 9:30 – 11:30am
Josie is looking for parent volunteers for both days to help out with the bubble station and the otter pops/water stations and to make sure kids throw their trash away. Volunteers will need to arrive by 9:00am. Sandra & Yazmin both said they would be there to help. Kayla said those from the Family Learning Center will also be there to help. Lorrie will be able to help with the 1st-5th grade day.
Thanks – We’d like to thank Lorrie, Tara & Josie for their work in their PTA positions. We really would like to wish Lorrie good luck in moving and we will deeply miss her in our community.
We’d also like to thank our Volunteers for all they have done in our PTA.
Tonya Rhodes – has proposed a flyer with a QR Code to have signups for help with PTA needs for 2024-2025 School Year. Colleen told her it would need to be
Questionnaire – We’d appreciate it if you would fill out the questionnaire to help the next PTA Leader for next year. Colleen will put the questionnaire on Parent Square for all families to have the ability to fill it out.
