Copperview Rolls out the Red Carpet!
First Week of School
This week our Copperview Cougars learned about how to be SAFE, KIND and RESPONSIBLE in all areas of the school. With the air quality and the rain this week, our students also learned about how much fun we can have on inside days. Our awesome Brain Booster Teachers and PlayWorks coach played games inside the classrooms during inside recess days.
Parents and families make sure you look for the INSIDE flag before school by the large flag pole. When the flag is out, students may enter the building through the front doors.
Upcoming Dates
August 23 – Family Learning Center Classes begin at 8:45am. Come learn English and computer skills. Click HERE for more information.
August 24 – School Community Council Meeting, 3:30pm in the Media Center
August 26 – Parent Night with Utah Parent Center, 6:00 – 7:00pm in the Gymnasium. Specifically for parents of Copperview Elementary students with IEP or 504 plans or who are struggling.
September 6 – NO SCHOOL – Labor Day
September 10 – PTA meeting, 9:00am in the Family Learning Center
September 14 – Picture Day! Look for a flyer coming home soon
September 16 – Big Smiles Dental Clinic. Applications have been sent home. If you would like to have your child be seen by a dentist, please turn in your application by September 3 or apply online HERE.
September 22 & 23 – Parent Teacher Conferences and SAY BOO TO THE FLU CLINICS – More information coming.
September 24 – NO SCHOOL – Teacher Comp Day
