Fall is here and the weather is changing.  Make sure to keep your eye out for the INSIDE Flag before school that signals all students can enter through the front doors instead of lining up at their grade level doors due to cold temperatures, rain, snow, or poor air quality.  Take a look at our Important Dates for October.

Congratulations to Tonya Rhodes

Tonya Rhodes received the Superintendent Special Recognition Award on Tuesday night at the CSD annual Apex Awards.  Tonya has been our Librarian for a number of years, however she has also spent the past 15 years as a PTA representative.  From 2015 – 2021 she held the Region 17 Director position acting as the liaison between the Utah PTA Council and local PTAs.  She worked to provide comprehensive trainings and conferences throughout the year and collaborated with Canyons School District representatives.  We have been so lucky to have Mrs. Rhodes at our school, she has put her heart into teaching our Copperview students the importance of literacy and gets students excited about reading.  She’s a leader in our school who is always willing to help out in any setting.  Thank you, Tonya, for all your hard work in PTA and at Copperview Elementary.
