March 7th - 11th
Coach Stephanie Young
Throughout this week, Playworks will be honoring our coaches by posting their profiles on the web, bringing them special treats, and hosting a luncheon in their honor.
Here at Copperview Elementary we would like to give special thanks to our AmeriCorps members, StephanieYoung and Mark Heumann. We want them to know how much we appreciate their service. It really is a remarkable thing for all these corps members to be giving so much of themselves in service to our communities, schools, and especially students.
Copperview Distinguish Cougar Award
As a student at Copperview Elementary, students are taking the first step toward a college degree. After completing elementary school, students education will take them through middle and high school, also. Once they have earned a high school diploma, they will be ready to begin college.
The Distinguished Cougar program is designed to show students at Copperview Elementary that by completing the extra work involved with college, they will earn rewards such as a better paying job, more career choices, and the satisfaction of learning and achieving new things.
Just like in college, there are three steps to the Distinguished Cougar Award. The Associates, Bachelors and the Masters Degrees. The requirements for each step must be completed to achieve each level. Click on the grade below to veiw the requirements for each grade.
To participate you will need to pick up a packet at the Copperview Office.
